Golden Eagle employs “Old World” design and building techniques to ensure lasting beauty. The custom entry is made of solid concrete, not stucco covered Styrofoam that wood peckers can destroy. There are custom architectural features, including wrought iron gates, a 12-foot tall fountain, multi-colored slate and three seven-foot tall ornate cast iron urns. Opening sensing loops for the gates were installed under the asphalt instead of cut into it. Thought to detail is foremost, an extra exiting sensing loop was installed 160 feet from the exit gate to ensure that the gate will be half-open by the time vehicles approach it. Video cameras record entrance and exit activity. There is also video surveillance throughout the community to enhance resident security.
